Overthinking can be a difficult habit to break, but it is possible. There are many different coping strategies, but what works for one person may not work for another.
The first step to stopping overthinking is acknowledging that you’re doing it.

Try to examine your thoughts objectively. Are they really as bad as you’re making them out to be? If not, try to replace your negative thoughts with more positive, realistic, and helpful ones.
